    1. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are binding and enforceable against every person that accesses or uses this Website. By using the Website and buying products on the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
    2. To our best efforts and knowledge, we make sure that the website and product information is accurate and up to date. Also it is of paramount importance to us that our products promoted on our site cause no harm to our customers, to animals and the environment, however, Kid Republic sells Baby related products and furniture online. The use of any product bought from our website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser indemnifies and holds the www.kidrepublic.co.za harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.
    3. We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary or other sources. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
    4. The private information required for executing the orders placed through our website (www.kidrepublic.co.za), namely the User’s personal information and credit card details (we use the strictest form of encryption through our trusted payment gateway PayFast), delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by Kid Republic and will not be sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.
    5. Kid Republic undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. Kid Republic cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
    6. Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into Kid Republic’s bank account, the details of which will be provided after checkout. Kid Republic uses highly secure payment gateways with encryption and no credit card details are stored on the website. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
    7. Subject to stock availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3-4 working days and handed over to our courier for delivery. Kid Republic will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will ensure that goods arrive at the User’s chosen delivery address in the same good order. By purchasing a product from Kid Republic you are agreeing to pay any and all charges associated with the purchased product. The agreement of sale is only valid once payment has been made and proof of payment received. Goods remain the property of Kid Republic up to this point.
      Cancelled orders on the website will be refunded after deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs.
    8. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. Kid Republic reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet our standards. Should Kid Republic exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors will be corrected.
    9. Certain content, products and services available via our website may include materials from third-parties. These products will not be available to purchase directly on our site.
      Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites.
      We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Please review carefully the third-party’s policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.

This Website and the Content may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, resold, visited or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express prior written consent of Kid Republic. The license does not allow the User to collect product or service listings, descriptions or other information displayed here, and does not allow any derivative use of this Website or the Content for the benefit of another merchant. Kid Republic do not offer products or services to minors. If you are under the age of 18, you may not respond to or otherwise accept or act upon any offers in the Website.
    11. Customer COMMENTS and Feedback. Please note that all customer comments, feedback and other submissions given to Kid Republic with or without request from us including all customer communication, feedback, testimonials, creative ideas, suggestions and proposals, whether online, by email, by postal mail or otherwise, shall be considered the property of Kid Republic. You agree that we may at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute and translate any comments that you forward to us. By releasing this information to Kid Republic we are under no obligation to maintain comments in confidence or to pay compensation or royalties for, or respond to any comments.
    12. We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we deem to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, pornographic or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property.
      You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of this website. You may not use a false e‑mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.

The Website and all Content on this Website, including any current or future offer of products or services, are provided on an “as is” basis, and may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. The Owners make no warranty or representation as to the availability, accuracy or completeness of the Content. Kid Republic shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect special, consequential or other damage of any kind whatsoever suffered or incurred, related to the use of, or the inability to access or use the Content or the Website or any functionality thereof, or of any linked website, even if Provider is expressly advised thereof. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes
    14. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, and the User consents to the jurisdiction of the North Gauteng High Court in the event of any dispute. If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law so as to give effect to the intent of these Terms and Conditions, and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Provider and the User with regard to the use of the Content and this Website.

Returns

    1. Kid Republic shall return products or refund customers in accordance with Sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and its Returns/Refunds Policy set out below.
    2. Products may not be returned unless the incorrect product has been supplied or the product is damaged or faulty upon delivery.
    3. Should a product be damaged in any way or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery, please notify us within 3 days via email or on 011 027 4438. Breakages not reported within 3 days will not be exchanged or refunded.
      Products must be returned in their original condition – including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
      On receipt and acceptance of returned product Kid Republic will make all reasonable effort to exchange said product, but if replacement is not possible Kid Republic will refund the purchase price, including delivery cost. Such amount will be refunded within 14 days of receipt of returned goods
      The faulty product will be collected from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will repair/replace the product as quickly as possible (if such a repair is possible/if we have the same product in stock with which to effect a replacement).
      If we are unable to repair or replace the product, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product.
    4. What constitutes a defect? Any material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.
      The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return:
      Faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
      Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
      Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
      Damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product;
      Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you; and
      Signs of excessive handling and/or repackaging.

 Payment & Shipping

    1. Payments can be made by EFT, Credit Card and Debit Card. VISA and Mastercard are accepted through our payment gateway namely PayFast
    2. Orders are dispatched from our store in Waterfall Corner, Midrand. Free collections are available.
    3. For those items that are in stock, we aim to deliver within 3-4 business days in Gauteng and within 4-5 business days to major cities within South Africa and within 4-6 business days for outlying areas.
    4. Please note all furniture has a two week lead time and our rocking chairs a 4-6 week lead time. From time to time some items will only be available on pre-order if we are waiting for a shipment, in which case ETA will be communicated to you and frequent updates sent via email or WhatsApp. Please note shipping fees apply to all furniture, rocking chairs and large bulky items
    5. We will only despatch once payment has cleared for EFT payments. Please note we do our best to stick to these time lines, they are however only estimated time frames and from time to time human error and unforeseen delays do occur.
    6. We will notify you if we are unable to meet our estimated delivery time but to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.
      Items will be delivered to the address you provided when placing an order. We deliver using a 3rdparty courier from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. till 5p.m. We do not deliver on Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays.
    7. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.
      Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the courier will retain the products and attempt to deliver at a later date. Our courier will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection.
